Club Announcement

Atherstone Rangers JFC are delighted to announce a long overdue alliance with Atherstone Town Community Football Club .

This gives local talent an opportunity to progress into non league football which will benefit both clubs .

Atherstone Town CFC and Atherstone Rangers JFC feel that players coming through the MJPL pathway at Under 15s and Under 16s will be best equipped for the taking on the challenge of the MFYL and MJPL under 18s .

Atherstone Rangers Under 15s 23/24 have been identified as the ideal start of the alliance to follow  Wayne Hadleys U18s into MFYL in 2 years time .

The link with the Adders will see Rangers teams from Under 15s and Under 16s play some of their fixtures at the GAM Civils Stadium over the next 2 seasons .

Any team that fits the criteria required by Atherstone Town CFC would continue to play under the Atherstone Rangers banner until the end of their Under 16s season and then hopefully move over to Atherstone Town CFC Under 18s .

The massive impact that Wayne Hadleys U16s/U18s have had on our club made us realise that we need to back them up with the next generation of local talent . Wayne’s boys have been a top MJPL side for the last couple of seasons and we hope to see further Rangers potentially follow a similar pathway into the Non-League game .

This relates to Boys & Girls teams
